Fall Dance on October 9th
The Holly Ridge Middle School Fall Dance for all students is scheduled for October 9th and will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Chaperones are needed to make this event a success for the kids. All chaperones must have volunteer clearance to chaperone. If you have not applied for clearance please apply immediately at any WCPSS school and be sure to check HRMS as one of your school choices. If you have already applied and are not sure if you have received volunteer clearance, please contact Laurie Davis at the front desk of HRMS.
Also, drink donations are being requested to offer students at the concession stand during the dance. All drink donations must be Pepsi brand per Wake County's contract with Pepsi. Please consider helping with this by signing up for the items you want to donate and drop them off at the HRMS front office the week of the dance making sure to label them with the word "Dance".
Please click on the following link to sign up to chaperone, donate drinks or both: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0c4bafac2babf58-fall4

Apex Friendship Volleyball Team Playing for Bob’s Buddies Charity
The Volleyball team will be playing their hearts out for Bob’s Buddies on Oct 8! The Lady Patriots are teaming up with Bob’s Buddies, an organization that raises money for much needed research for pediatric brain tumors. Volleyball players will dedicate their game that night “in honor of” or “in memory of” children who battle brain cancer. Many of the local “Bob’s Buddies” children and their families will be in attendance. The Patriots will honor all cancer survivors during a brief intermission at the game. The Volleyball team wants to raise as much money as possible that night through concessions, t-shirt sales, a raffle, silent auction and “in honor/in memory” card sales, and would appreciate the community’s support. Games begin at 5pm.
