New at Holly Ridge Middle School...

AVID, which stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination is now offered to students at Holly Ridge. During the summer, teachers on the 6th grade Navigators team joined with faculty from over 20 Wake County middle schools to take part in training sessions that equipped them to use AVID curriculum and strategies.

Here at Holly Ridge Middle School, AVID currently consists of a group of 6th grade students who have been identified as being in the "academic middle" but have the potential for growth and eventually to become college bound.
