Dismissal Procedures
All bus riders are to exit the school through the Guidance Hallway. All bus riders are to proceed directly to and board their bus. There are to be NO car pool students in the bus loop. All car pool students are to exit through the Main Hallway front doors. There will be no riding of other student's buses or getting off at another student's bus stop. This rule was put in place by Transportation last year and is still in effect for the 2009-2010 school year. Please make other arrangements for students to get together after school.

Lockdown Drill
This morning a lockdown drill was conducted as planned here at Holly Ridge Middle. We are pleased with the conduct of the staff and students as this drill was handled very well by all. Thank you again for your support.

Safety is a priority at all schools and we have taken steps to help our teachers, students and community be better prepared in case of an emergency. We plan to conduct a lockdown drill on Wednesday, November 18 at approximately 8:30 a.m. We believe this lockdown drill will allow us to ensure that procedures are in place to protect everyone. By working with our law enforcement and WCPSS Security staff on the drill, we can better prepare our students, faculty and staff for the unexpected. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the school at 577-1335.
