High School Registration - Information Session - January 29, 7pm

The HRMS Guidance Department will be holding a Parent Night on Thursday, January 29 at 7:00pm in the auditorium for 8th grade parents. The goal is to present information for parents in preparation for the upcoming high school registration period. Topics will include changes in graduation requirements, an introduction to high school courses and terms, and preliminary information on registering your student for high school. Contact 8th grade counselor Alan Ellington (aellington@wcpss.net ) with questions.

January 27 - February 2 -- Students explore CFNC website and begin working on graduation plans.

February 17 - March 6 -- Teachers make recommendations for 9th Grade courses

March 6 - April 17 -- Students enter their course selections on SPAN

May 1 -- Graduation plans sent to high schools
