Put on your dancing shoes to get ready for the annual Fall dance.  It will be held on Friday, Oct. 19 in the HRMS Gymnasium from 7 to 9 PM.  All students are invited to the dance.  Each dance we pick a charity to raise money for  instead of charging admission. This year we have chosen to participate in the Salvation Army's Coins for Coats.  The money we collect will be given to Wake County school children as a voucher to purchase winter clothing.  This is  in lieu of sending in used coats  which you can still be donated to WRAL at Jiffy Lube, Capital Bank, and a Salvation Army location.  Also, your student may want to purchase a snack from the concession stand to support our school clubs and a photo to remember the night and  support the Science and Technology Club.

 Note:    Please plan to attend the monthly Board Advisory Council meeting on Monday, Oct. 15 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in the Media Center at HRMS.  Our speaker will be Chuck Delaney of WCPPS Growth Management.  He will be speaking about new schools and will take questions.  Our School Board  Representative, Ron Margiotta will also be present.
